Sweet McKinlee Gray

I can't believe my little McKinlee turned 1. The year has flown by, I feel like she was just born a month or two ago, and yet, here we sit, 12 months later celebrating. When I was pregnant with her we struggled to come up with a name that both Josh and I liked, one of the names we liked was McKinlee Joy. I had received a blessing and was told in the blessing that the baby would bring me and others great joy. As I remember those days, I have to smile to myself. She truly is a joy, she has brought so much happiness and joy to us and to those around us. She is such a wonderful and joyful baby, and she always keeps us on our toes, we never know what she is going to do next. I am excited for the adventure.

Kite Song

"Let's go fly a Kite. Up to the Highest height. Let's go fly a Kite and send it soaring! Up to the atmosphere, up where air is clear. ohhhh, let's go Fly a Kite"

Random Pictures

I really wanted to get one more post in before McKinlee's birthday...so here it is

McKinlee is really fond of Mia's doll "baby Rebecca" this is a picture Mia took of them playing

McKinlee loves to get into the cupboard and pull out and eat everything she findsHaving fun wearing the goggles, we are ready to go swimMmm...sketty...the best part was when she saw her hand and started to laugh at it because it looked different. She is such a funny babyThey love each other so much!Just like her daddy, McKinlee loves popcorn. Mia wasn't too happy when she came over and stole it.

It may sound strange but I love St. Patrick's Day. I love dressing my kids in green (my favorite color) I like making our pancakes green, and listening to Mia laugh at the different look of our food, it is especially fun because I can try and match my two girls, for a little while anyway.

Yesterday was beautiful, so as soon as Mia got home from school we headed to the park.
Since Mia was mobile she has been a monkey, she would climb anything she could, we learned to keep closet doors closed so she couldn't climb the shelves. McKinlee on the other hand, has been our little bear. She is much more content to cuddle, follow you around, and enjoy the pleasures of being carried to high places, that is until yesterday. apparently I only have Monkeys

It has been so beautiful for the last week, but rumor's are spreading that it won't last and is going to get cold again...I wonder if I think and wish hard enough if it will stay warm...here are some pictures of some our excursions while we could get out
