Today was the day we, especially Josh, have been waiting for...the day of the Ultrasound. Josh took a half day at work so we could go to the appointment and shopping afterwards. So off we went. We sat and watched the baby on the screen and smiled to ourselves waiting for the moment when the technician would announce "boy" or "girl" Finally after what seemed like an eternity she said are you ready to find out? We both said an enthusiastic "YES!" She looked and said "hmm...the baby has it's legs crossed." So she began to beat/jiggle on my stomach with the wand, in an attempt to get the
baby to move. It didn't, she she tried a little harder, but nothing. Finally after what seemed like forever, she said "This baby will not move. I am so sorry but I will not be able to tell you what you are having." So Josh and I gathered up our things and left. Now we have to decide if we should try again or go old fashioned and be surprised when he/she makes his/her grand appearance into the world.
