And Baby number 3 is...

Today was the day we, especially Josh, have been waiting for...the day of the Ultrasound. Josh took a half day at work so we could go to the appointment and shopping afterwards. So off we went. We sat and watched the baby on the screen and smiled to ourselves waiting for the moment when the technician would announce "boy" or "girl" Finally after what seemed like an eternity she said are you ready to find out? We both said an enthusiastic "YES!" She looked and said "hmm...the baby has it's legs crossed." So she began to beat/jiggle on my stomach with the wand, in an attempt to get the baby to move. It didn't, she she tried a little harder, but nothing. Finally after what seemed like forever, she said "This baby will not move. I am so sorry but I will not be able to tell you what you are having." So Josh and I gathered up our things and left. Now we have to decide if we should try again or go old fashioned and be surprised when he/she makes his/her grand appearance into the world.

All I want for Christmas is...

It is amazing how something as little as teeth can completely change the appearance of someone. You don't realize how much until your new baby gets their first teeth or your not so new baby loses theirs. Suddenly that adorable new born with the toothless grin begins not look so new as she flashes her new teeth around, but soon you get used to it and start seeing your child more as a toddler. Then with out warning those tiny little teeth begin to fall out and your not so new baby looks even older as she flashes her now toothless grin. Why is that?

Back to School Night

Mia is sitting at her big kid desk.

Pointing out her name on the door, she was excited because her fish is her Nana's favorite color

Mia Loves being on the big kid playground, and can't wait until she can go rock climbing "for real"

McKinlee loved the big playground too.

I think Josh did also, I wanted to crop this image but also wanted everyone to see the view from Mia's school. Beautiful

Birthday Weekend

This year Mia's Birthday fell right smack in the middle of Labor Day Weekend. Which really meant that her birthday lasted for three days. On Saturday we went swimming, but I forgot my camera, which made me really sad because we went with our friends to the Whitehall Pool, which had a diving board which my little Dare Devil had to try and fell in love with. Hopefully my friend will send me pictures soon.

On Sunday it was Mia's actual special day... and yes she wore the "Princess Crown" to church but I made her take it off for the meetings. Later that day she wanted to ride her new scooter at round hill park.

Mia and McKinlee had a blast looking at all the farm animals and climbing trees.

Mia took this picture.
She is very excited that the leaves are changing.
