Christmas Wrap

Count Down to Christmas...
it started by Mia dancing for Charity...she did a beautiful job and has become a very talented dancer.
Next Mia and I made an advent calender...to get us to the day. Sadly it didn't work because
McKinlee would pull off every piece that we put on. Oh well we had fun making it.

The rest of the month went as follows...

Mia played an angel in our Ward Live Nativity, she stayed out both nights in freezing weather. She loved every minute of it, she has been waiting a whole year to play an angel.

McKinlee mastered dressing warm,
We met up with Santa, at Josh's family work party, you can see last years entry on the blog if you want more info on the party. This year Josh kind of rushed us because he had tickets to the Pitt vs Cincinnati game.

Mia made sure to tell Santa everything she wanted and let him know what McKinlee wanted too. Such a sweet girl

We picked out our Christmas tree

We got some snow just in time for Santa's big arrival
Christmas Sunday came and the girls looked beautiful

And finally it was Christmas eve,
we decorated cookies for Santa, McKinlee saved some for him
we went to the movies and out for our usual Chinese dinner...PF Chang's lettuce wraps yum.
The Next morning the girls excitedly got up we ate breakfast and opened our presents. The loved it and has a wonderful time.

We hope everyone had a fabulous Holiday and a Fantastic new year!

Josh

Sometimes it is the little things that remind you why you love your husband so much. Like today when I ran out of fabric softener and asked Josh to bring some home and he did. Later I went to change out the laundry and remembered that I had left the dryer sheets upstairs...I sighed in frustration of having to drag my pregnant body back up the stairs to grab something so small and simple only to find that Josh had already put them by the dryer. It's funny how doing something so simple and mundane is the very thing that makes him my hero.

Until I get back upstairs and find that he has talked Mia into putting every green bean left from dinner in her mouth, which causes her to gag and spit them out. But we do get a laugh out of it...so he is my hero again, (once he cleaned up the mess)
