Tricks or Treats

I love, love, LOVE Halloween.  What other holiday do you get to dress up, carve pumpkins, collect treats from your neighbors, and enjoy delicious soup, mummy hot dogs, and warm apple cider?  I love that in Pittsburgh it is a two week celebration, we get full use out of the kid costumes.  We even got to go to our dear friends party and I was able to force Josh to join in on the dressing up fun...but I forgot to take a picture.  But we went as really, really old people.  Josh had a great comb over wig if you can picture it...

Pumpkin carving with three kids was quite the adventure, we had 5 pumpkins to cut, gut, and carve.  Mia decided she was big enough to do it herself, she designed, cut, gutted and carved (everything but the mouth by herself)

McKinlee loves the book the Bumpy Little Pumpkin she chose her design from there,

and wanted Wynter to make "Little Nell's"
In the end we had three very happy and tired little girls

Wynter wore herself out
