A Day in the Life of McKinlee

My Little Mckinlee is one of the sweetest and cuddliest babies I have ever seen, but she really keeps us on our toes...here is a typical day for Little McKinlee Gray

Wake up climb over mom(yes she sleeps with me, she won't sleep any other way...I have tried) and play in the window...which means pull on the blinds and watch them smack against the window over and over until I have had enough. Then we get up and have breakfast, she refuses to let us help her so she feeds herself. The rest of the day goes as follows:

Pull all the toys out of the basket, watch mom put them away, pull them back out, watch mom put them away...laugh while she pulls them out again, smile while mom puts them away...pull them out one more time just to see what happens, and get bored when Mom doesn't put them away...

so....she moves on the basket of diapers, pulls them out and repeats the toy routine with only one little twist, once everything is pulled out she climbs into the basket.

Soon I completely give up step over the mess of toys and diapers and begin to load or unload the dishes...Mckinlee is right behind my heels to help...

First she pulls all of the clean silverware out making sure to suck on each piece, just so mom can wash, rinse, repeat. Once the dishwasher is unloaded, I begin to load the dirty dishes, Mckinlee pulls each piece of silverware out and licks off what ever food or flavor remained. It is so helpful, who needs to rinse the dishes when you have McKinlee

after that it is nap time, this would be the time for me to catch up on all her helping, but she won't sleep unless I am touching her, so down we go and I get to flip between Disney and Nick jr. After her nap she goes to the fridge or food cupboard and pulls out what ever she can...she spills her food and licks it off the ground, because eating with fingers is soooo last month.

Play with Mia as soon as she gets home, which usually includes pulling her hair until Mia gets mad, watch Mia come cuddle with mommy because she is upset, then McKinlee comes over squeezes in between Mia and I , and kicks Mia until she moves to the other side of the room.

At least she keeps things interesting
