Love

Love for a child is a difficult feeling to put into words, it goes beyond the old adage of I would die for you and becomes something indescribable...but you would do anything for them. No other person in this world can cause you to celebrate things as insignificant as going poop, but after more than a week and a half of not going poop, that one diaper that explodes out the back and sides gives you reason to cheer and shout. You are grabbing your cell phone and going through your contact list calling everyone who will listen to you your good news.

I say this upon the completion of major tasks being accomplished in both of my girls lives. Mia has leaned to read and, besides finally going poop, McKinlee has taken her first wobbly steps. The swelling of pride is there, I am smiling from ear to ear, it is as though no other human being has ever accomplished such a feat. Mine were the first, until Mia learned to read we were all illiterate, and until McKinlee learned to walk we all just sat there.

But on a more serious note, no matter what anyone says...no 6 year old has ever sounded as well as Mia when they read a book, and no baby has ever looked as cute as McKinlee as they took their first steps (except maybe Mia)

Video will be coming soon

I agree beginning walking is the best! Paige is wobbling herself around the house and I think it is the cutest thing ever!
