Visions of Sugar Plums

I don't know if it is the gloomy weather of a Pennsylvania Winter, or what it is but I just haven't had it in me lately to post on the blog.  But Thanks to my dear friend Kate, who misses us terribly, she requested an update so I will do one for y'all.

Christmas was fantastic, we spent the month doing different activities each night some were just reading a Christmas book or watching movies, and others were driving around looking at lights and drinking hot chocolate or making treats or crafts,

The unanimous favorite was our "Grinch Party"  we made roast beast(roasted chicken) who pudding, who hash, and our drinks (sprite) magically turned green, (thanks to some unseen food coloring in the bottom of the kids glasses) then as a family we watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas, McKinlee keeps asking when we will do it again.

our very own "Santa's Little Helper" even got up extra early on Christmas Eve to hand craft doll beds for the girls, with his trusty side kick (of course)
the girls were excited and Ryken happily went from gift to gift to help everyone open theirs

You can almost see the Sugar Plums Dancing in their Heads
